Every couple of years I get a cold and hack and cough and blow my nose a lot. I am very fortunate that I don't get sick more often. I recognize it as a great blessing. But then it gets to the tickle-in-the-throat stage and I have to live on cough drops and it gets yucky. Such a trial I know - but the older I get the more aches and pains I have and the less tolerant I get of them.

Oh, Marm!! I’m so happy that you started blogging! I used to check yours a lot to see if you ever wrote in it…and you never did…so I stopped checking it. But then I read a comment of yours on Kacy’s and thought, “I’ll check to see if she’s written anything” and you had! How delightful.
By the by, you know I have a blog, right? I mean, you don’t have to read it or anything, but you said you “learn a lot” from my comments on other people’s blogs. If you want you can just read mine, at http://lizer.blogspot.com. How funny that I’ve written in that thing for 3 years now and you’ve never read it! Hopefully there’s nothing offensive in there.
Don’t you just feel so 21st century?!
Eliza, I do feel very 21st century - but then again corresponding with printed words on the page is very 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th century too!
