I do not have many photos of Rhoda that are immediately accessible - so this one will do. We are heading to Paris to celebrate Rhoda's 8th birthday and her baptism - so I will do a more extended version when I return.

So the top photo is one of my fave photos of Calvin! His birthday is not until the 25th, but we are heading off for France on Tuesday and I'm not sure how efficient I will be so I'm going with early - and since I'm so often late, it might be a nice change - if anyone even reads this blog anymore!

Today would be baby Jonah's 10th birthday. Seems like a long time ago - and also like yesterday. It was a difficult time, a busy time, a stressful time - but it was also a time of love and sharing and support.
We are all better people because of sweet baby Jonah.
Seems like a lot of my Deacon photos have Frances in them - and Deacon and Frances are pretty good playing buddies - at least at my house they seem to be!!
Deacon is 8 on October 7th!!

Tardy with this one - although in my head I thought her bday was today - when I checked the list, turns out it was yesterday! But Norma is one of the first good friends I made after moving back to SoCal in 1979. I read about SMCNS in a local paper and went to check it out. It turned out to be a great fit for our family - and we were involved there for many years.
And got to know Norma - and even after we didn't have SMCNS to connect us, we stayed connected. And we still do lunch, sometimes dinner with our husbands, and chat on the phone pretty regularly - and text each other clues and comments about the Daily Jumble in the LA Times!
Happy heavenly Birthday to my dear friend Connie Watson Beadle. She's been gone for 3 years now - and it seems much longer. I am a letter writer - and after Connie moved away, I wrote her letters - and she answered them!! Not a lot of people do - they usually just call. The plus here is that I can read those letters now - whereas I can't get a phone call from Heaven! And reading the letters brings back the memory of her voice and her laugh.
A treasure!
