Wish I could hold this new little guy - I suspect he will be lots bigger by the time I get meet him - but I'm glad for some first class photos - especially those without tubes and wires.
Great grandchildren are the best - meet Ezekiel James Allen!!

Happy day to me - and Happy Heavenly Birthday to Roseann - first year without my Birthday Buddy! Happy 21st Anniversary to Harry and Dawn. And Happy 6th birthday to Francis.
May is FULL of birthdays - I send cards but don't do posts for everyone!!
Happy Birthday to my mama and my currently youngest grandson - she would have loved sharing a birthday with Lee - he's sweet little guy!!
Bonny is a grandma!! Ezekiel James Allen was born on Monday, May 17th at 7:45 a.m. He weighed 7 lbs 14 oz. He is having some oxygen issues so he's in the NICU - but he's doing well.
How can I be the mother of a grandmother - wait, I'm a great grandmother!!
Oh, happy day!
May is full of birthdays in our family - and I have a plethora of friends with May birthdays too. So far it's been Noah on the 12th and Dawn today and my good friend Carol on the 7th.
Coming up is Lee, my mom, Betsy, me, Roseann, Henry, Sarah, Michael, Karen, oh my the list goes on and on. I may do them all - and I may not!!
Happy day in May!
And we had May Day too - and I neglected to take photos - which is too bad, because the little cones of flowers I left on the neighbors' porches were lovely!!
Easter break saw us flying to Portland to spend a week with Phoebe and family - David is in Idaho at the new job - and Henry is on his mission. We will miss visiting Idaho when the Fillmores move in the summer!!
It was a fun week though!!
We have not seen a lot of Keesa since the pandemic began! Hopefully that can change as the pandemic landscape changes. In the meantime, wishing you the happiest of birthdays - and looking forward to celebrating with you soon!
February means we celebrate our dear friend Ry Nebeker. He and Harry were college roommates and our lives have stayed connected ever since.
Ry died 6 years ago - but we always remember his birthday - and think about how much we miss him. Thankfully a lot of his art work adorns our walls, so it feels like he is always with us!!
February means some Terrill family birthdays - Phoebe's David and Bonny and Bruce's Esme. Both of whom are wonderful additions to our family. We know they had fun birthdays - and that both are looking forward to new situations in 2021: Esme is going on a mission to Finland in July and David - and Phoebe and family - are moving to Idaho in June - although David has been there awhile already.
We are excited for their new adventures!
Sisters are the best - and I have 5 of them - a real blessing in my life.
So Happy Birthday today to Leslie - often called "Leslie Junior" in an earlier life! I was almost 14 when she was born, but over the years, we have developed a good, close bond. For which I am grateful!
Bonne Anniversaire as they say in French!!
Happy 14th Birthday Theo! So sorry we haven't been able to meet in person for a year now!! I miss seeing you - but love our weekly Zoom sessions!
Have a great year - we love you and are certainly proud of the great young man you are!
Looks like I missed Richard's birthday - January 1st! And Jim's - January 3rd! And Dale's - January 7th! And the 132nd anniversary of my paternal grandmother - Agnes Marietta Busath Clayton.
I hope to get on schedule soon!! Let's see if I do!!
When you get married at Christmas time, you sometimes don't always get the recognition in the ensuing years for celebrating your anniversary. We usually keep the kids and send Matt and Eliza off on a getaway - because they are usually here for the holiday.
Not so this year - and we were sad about that!! But Happy Anniversary wishes were extended - and I think they celebrated pandemic style!!
We love you both!! And are so glad you found each other!
I missed Bonny and Bruce's wedding anniversary - 30 years! And our anniversary - 53 years! And Harry's birthday - 76 years! Just like the big trombones!!
On January 2nd, my sister-inn-law Rose Ann died. She and I shared a birthday, same day, same year. We had a bond. Each year we exchanged greetings. So when she did not send a card two years ago, I was a little concerned. As it turned out, she was beginning the Alzheimer's journey. It was sad to watch, but beautiful to watch as her family lovingly cared for her.
Rest in peace, Rose Ann.
