I lived in Utah for almost 17 years - and had to be dragged kicking and screaming back to California - 32 years ago now!!
But I do miss autumn. In California, autumn seems to mean excessive heat and forest fires!!The nip in the air, the changing leaves, the crystal blue skies - we could use some of that right now!!

I do love autumn.
What I miss about CA is the Santa Anna winds. I know they don't help the fires, but I loved those warm winds as a kid. In January I start wanting some warm winds up here!
Autumn / Fall is really pretty in Utah. I also miss the harvest there at that time. Corn on the cob, peaches, raspberries and picking grapes with my fam.
Autumn in VA is one of my favorite things ever...a rival to spring in VA.
I was there one October and I have to agree with Eliza.
