Grateful indeed that we once had a VW van - I feel like it just sort of qualifies us for coolness! It was fun - had it less than a year - and had to pay extra to get seat belts installed - 1978.
We sold it to afford a mortgage and a piano. A worthy trade but it would have been nice to keep all three. And many years later we got a Dodge Ram Van - 15 passenger. So "vanness" stayed in our description!
It was a beauty!
