What's new in the neigborhood??

So, after 26 years, we have finally planted a tree in the front yard!! It's a California Sycamore.

And I thought I'd show you how different the side yard looks now that the neighbors to the north have cleared away about 30 years of overgrowth.

Don't drive on by because you don't recognize the place!!

This brings me joy!! Thank you Lawnbird!! (that would be our good friend Paul!)

As the kid says in "Angels in the Outfield" - my favorite line, "It could happen!"

Tress are great. You have at least another 26 years there, so it should be full grown by then.

Hope it's full grown before 26 years - it's supposed to be a "fast" growing tree!

We need to make up for lost time!!

I really like your tree. We are needing one in our back yard. I sould say that I really want one. I am going to ask for it for Christmas and my birthday this year.

I love trees.

Good choice.
I think streets lined with Sycamores look cozy and friendly, like the kind of place anyone would enjoy living in.
