Today was Fast Sunday, which means that I fasted, paid a fast offering, and attended Fast and Testimony meeting. It's what I've done for at least the last 61 years, since I was baptized at 8 years of age.
And I am grateful for practices and principles that I have observed as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am grateful that there have always been safe parameters to guide me in the directions my life has taken.
I'm not sure how I would have chosen without that guidance and direction. So I am grateful for the guidance that defines me and my life.
